When working in excel, saving via Ctrl+S clears the clipboard

This only happens when copying from excel. If I copy I can paste into something else unless I first save the document. If I save after pasting, I can continue to paste as long as I've first pasted outside of excel, but if I copy and then save, there is nothing in the clipboard to paste even though what I just copied shows up in the clipboard history. This did not happen when using another clipboard manager like ClipX or when using no clipboard manager.

Sorry for the late reply.
Please describe the steps you take when this problem occurs in more detail.
In which application do you use CTRL+S keys to save a document?
If you use the CTRL+S keys for the ClipClip window when there is selected any clip in the grid, this clip will be saved as a file. But during this operation, the ClipClip app does not use the clipboard.
