Is there a way to stop minimize after clip select?

I have always stay on top and instant paste enabled. I have clipclip window open (not using ctrl+shift+v). When I double click to paste a clip, the window minimizes every time. Is there a way to stop this? Prior to update I was using the shortcut menu to paste, but now it doesn't work how I need it to, this is the next best alternative for me. The last alternative is to disable instant paste, double click on clip and manually paste it into the program I'm using which works, but it's an extra step. Any help?

Ah thanks! That works well enough. It would be nice to have just a regular window mode that can move behind others when casually using and I can give it some screen real estate when heavily using it.

Thanks for the tip though. I can't fathom why clipboard apps insist on auto minimizing without an option to change that. I might as well use Windows native clipboard.

Hello,

When your window has been minimized, the focus is moved to another window (that was behind yours). After that, your app (in our case the ClipClip app) simulates pressing the 'CTRL+V' shortcuts to allow Windows OS to paste/insert the data into the focused field of the currently active window/application.

NOTE: If you disable the 'Options => Enable instant paste' option, the selected clip will be inserted into the clipboard, and the Manager window will not be minimized. To paste the clip data, press the 'CTRL+V' shortcuts manually.

How this can be used:
- Double-click on the clip in the grid on the manager window (the 'Use clip' option must be selected on the 'Content' tab).
As a result, the clip data is already inserted into the clipboard.
- Press the 'ALT+TAB' shortcuts to switch to another window that contains a focused field that is waiting for data.
- Press the 'CTRL+V' shortcuts to paste data.
- Press the 'ALT+TAB' shortcuts to return to the ClipClip app.
That's all.

Has this feature ever been rolled out? My use case is copy and pasting contact information onto a form. I have name, email, phone. I copy all three and would like to double click to paste each one on the form. Its very annoying that it auto-minimizes every time I apply the paste. So much that it makes it unusable for me. Help?

I loved PastePal on mac, but now that I'm on windows I'd really like something similar. This is the closest thing I've found. Thanks for the help and support!

Hello,

Try to use the 'Always on top' option in the main menu.
This prevents minimizing the Manager window.

Hello

Disable this feature in the main menu:
Main menu => Options => uncheck the "Enable instant paste" option

In this case, the ClipClip window will not be minimized, the selected clips will be inserted into the clipboard. To paste this data from the clipboard into some program, you have to do this manually.
Now, there is no way to paste data automatically if the ClipClip app is on the top. But this is an interesting idea, so we will try to implement this scenario in the next version.

Thanks, I'll do this until an update "fixes" this. Appreciate the program, it's a real time saver.
