Paste menu out of screen

The paste menu goes out of my screen recently after I changed the number of copied histories. I couldn't even scroll to the bottom and see saved clips. That troubles me a lot. How to fix it? If I do a reinstall, will I lost my saved clips?

I'm using Windows10 20H2, ClipClip 2.2.4319.

Thank you @Yaroslav, I switched to the beta version you provided, however the problem still exists. I've submitted the bug report. Hopefully it helps you guys for troubleshooting.

Hello

The position of the Paste Menu is manually calculated in the code.
This was implemented many years ago when Windows OS had fewer monitor configurations.
At this moment, since the users can have many (2-3) connected monitors with different resolutions and configurations, we cannot calculate the correct position of the Paste Menu for each specific scenario. For example, take a look at the virtual screen that we built for tests using monitor parameters from the report file that we received from the "Brandm26" user - some monitors have a "Portrait" orientation + one monitor has negative coordinates that complicate the calculation:

To solve this issue, we can add a new option to the Configuration window that will switch from the menu position that is calculated manually, to an automatic calculation by Windows OS.
You can test a new ClipClip 2.2.4482 version that uses the current mouse position for the menu position. Windows OS will automatically place the Paste Menu on the virtual screen according to WinApi logic:

Please let us know whether this ClipClip Pro (Beta) 2.2.4482 version works properly on your computer.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi guys

Most likely there was an error in the code.
Here is a link where you can download the ClipClip Pro (Beta) 2.2.4466 [DEBUG] version to test it.
It is our local test version that was compiled in the DEBUG mode to detect errors.
This version already has some fixes for the previous versions.
So, please follow these steps:
1) Close your installed ClipClip app if it is running;
2) Download the "ClipClip Pro (Beta) 2.2.4466 [DEBUG].zip" archive from this link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kH84P0O16FFR6Nu7GUoRxWqGMwoD-wxI/view?usp=sharing
3) Unzip downloaded "ClipClip Pro (Beta) 2.2.4466 [DEBUG].zip" archive;
4) Open the "ClipClip Pro (Beta) 2.2.4466 [DEBUG]" folder and find the "ClipClip.exe" file in it;
5) Double-click on the "ClipClip.exe" file to run the ClipClip 2.2.4466 app;

If this version works properly on your computer, you can use it as a portable version instead of the installed version until a new release version is available.
NOTE 1: Please let us know whether this ClipClip Pro (Beta) 2.2.4466 version works properly on your computer.

NOTE 2: If your problem will be repeated in a new ClipClip 2.2.4466 version, please send the report from THIS ClipClip 2.2.4466 version:
- Go to the main menu => Help => Report a problem.
This report will contain the attached log file that may contain some errors. They can help us to solve your problem.

Thank you for your cooperation.

This response does not solve the issue. The real problem is the Global menu showing up in a location that is nowhere near the mouse pointer as it should be. How is this issued fixed?

I tend to agree. Reinstall didn't fix the issue. However, I can use the keyboard to scroll the list now, although it's a bit painful.

Hello

No, the saved clips cannot be lost during ClipClip installation or uninstalling this app. The saved clips are just files that are stored on your hard drive. The ClipClip app loads them to manipulate their content. For example, to edit it or insert it into the clipboard.
The latest clips are stored as encrypted files on the hard drive.
If you install the ClipClip version older than the app that created these latest clips, the latest clips may be lost.
