Doesn't start to tray anymore

Why won't it run minimized to the tray on startup anymore. Use to be able to set that way.

Very annoying to say the least.

Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience.
For some reason, unnecessary record automatically is added to the Registry Editor.
I already sent a question about it to the team who implemented an installer for the ClipClip  2.4.5515 version.
Here is a video that demonstrates my tests that show how this record occurs in the Registry Editor during the ClipClip installation:

To fix your issue, you have to delete this record.
To do this (see the attached "ClipClip AutoRun Delete.png" screenshot):
- Open the Registry Editor on this key:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- On the right side, find the "ClipClip" entry;
- Right-click on it and click the "Delete" command to delete this record;
That's all.

After the fix, you can enable the "Run on Windows startup" option to make the ClipClip behavior as it was in the previous versions.
In this case, the ClipClip app will add the record to this key in Registry Editor:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
There will be added the record:
"C:\Program Files\ClipClip\ClipClip.exe" -hide
where "-hide" parameter allows to run the ClipClip app in the hidden mode - the ClipClip app is placed in the System Tray.

Perfect!

Thanks again!

I'm using ClipClip on my work computer so I don't have permissions to delete anything from Registry Editor. Is there any non-hacky way to get it to start minimized?
