"Clipboard monitor has been paused"

I've been using the program for a few years now and at randomly a week or two ago, the program has been saying message the title states. Anyone have any idea what is causing this? I'm not sure if it stopped working after a windows update or not because my office computer kind of just does whatever it wants. I've also tried using the Force Clips Update function which makes the pause message go away but the second I copy something new it pauses again. Anyone know what causes this?

Thanks

Nevermind, I figured it out. Not sure how but the "Clips that will be displayed in the preview" drop down had somehow deselected "Text" as an option.

Hello,

There is the "Enable the clipboard monitor" command in the ClipClip app:
- Main menu => Options => "Enable the clipboard monitor" command
If the "Enable the clipboard monitor" option is enabled (checked), the ClipClip app creates new latest clips from data that you copied.
If the "Enable the clipboard monitor" option is disabled (unchecked), the ClipClip app ignores all copied data. As a result, new clips will not be created. In this case, you will see the "Clipboard monitor has been paused" message.
NOTE: This option is very useful and can be used (when it is disabled) when you copy some private or any other unwanted data and you do not want to create clips from these data.
NOTE: You can enable/disable this option in the main menu, in the tray menu (right-click on the ClipClip icon in the system tray), or you can press special hotkeys (see the "Hotkeys" tab in the Configuration window).

There is the "Clip preview" feature.
If there are added types of clips and you copy something, the content of the last clip will be shown in the small window at the right lower corner of the desktop.
Since the "Clip preview" window has commands in its context menu, you can use a command to open/edit/delete/etc. directly in this window.
Please visit this link to the video that demonstrates how to enable or disable this feature:
