Why no formatting in HTML editor?

I used to have the ability to change font colour, make text bold and basically use a full html editor up until a few versions ago.

Why has this function been removed?

I know you can do these functions in a rich text document but the text from .rtf loses all formatting when pasted into a web page such as a support ticket, blog post etc.

Is there a workaround?

Hello,

We have already implemented new features in the Clip Editor that edits HTML clips. After some tests, we will get these corrections with new updates. Here is the screenshot that demonstrates the differences between ClipClip 2.4.5710 and the last ClipClip 2.4.5751 version.

NOTE: To edit clips, you can open them in the internal editors by using the "Edit clip...” command. These editors are simple editors to make small changes to the clip content. If you want to update the clip content more professionally, use other editors for that. For example, Photoshop for images, Word for RTF clips, etc.

REMEMBER: All clips are standard Windows files that are stored on the hard drive or can be placed on other devices (like external hard drives, flash drives, etc.) that are connected to the computer where the ClipClip app runs. Working with these files, the ClipClip app simulates the behavior of File Explorer - we have implemented this to avoid using additional databases to store clips. Such implementation allows easy access to clips - it allows creating, editing, or deleting clips directly in File Explorer manually.

Please watch the video that demonstrates clip editing in the Notepad application directly in File Explorer.
The changes will be applied to the original clip automatically:
