Hi Jon
Most likely, you pinned the latest clips and "Auto save latest clips on exit" option is disabled (Configuration window => "General" tab).
In this case, the latest clips are deleted while ClipClip exits. As a result, pinned clips (in fact - latest clips) are deleted also.
To avoid this behavior, enable this option.

Vitzo Team.
I have verified that that the "Auto save latest clips on exit" is enabled. I even unchecked the and rechecked the box and saved it again.
The issue is still present. Once I re-install the old version that function works again.

Hi Jon
Please open this folder: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Vitzo\ClipClip
This folder can contain a log file (or several files from different ClipClip versions). Please send us this file. Maybe, it contains any warning/errors that will help us to solve your issue.
Best Regards,
Vitzo Team.
It appears that the new version hasn't generated a log file. This is likely as I have uninstalled the new version and chose to use the old version to use the pin functionality.
Hi Jon
In fact, the pinned clips are shortcuts of the files that represent the latest/saved clips.
The pinned clips are stored in this folder:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Vitzo\ClipClip\Favorite Clips
You can make this test to check whether "Pinned Clips" feature works properly (install the last version before this test):
- Open "...\Favorite Clips" folder;
- Open ClipClip app;
- In the main window of ClipClip app, move any latest or saved clip to "Pinned Clips" folder (using Drag-and-Drop operation);
As a result, a new pinned clip is created in the "Pinned Clips" folder in the ClipClip app and a new shortcut is created in the "...\Favorite Clips" folder.
- Close ClipClip app (the main menu => Window => Exit application);
As a result, the shortcut in the "...\Favorite Clips" folder continues to exist.
If so, there is no problem with Pinned clips.
NOTE: The option "Auto save latest clips on exit" should be enabled on the "General" tab in the Configuration window - it applies to the pinned clips created from the latest clips. If you create the pinned clips from the saved clips, this option can be disabled.
Best Regards,
Vitzo Team.
Upon re-opening ClipClip the shortcuts in the Favorite Clips folder are purged. This happens whether save latest clips is enabled or not.
