On a slightly related subject, at the bottom right of the App list screen there is 'Create a new rule'. What is that for? I clicked on the adjacent + and ClipClip froze and I had to End Task and restart.

Most likely, there is a bug in this scenario.
I demonstrated how you can add an application to the "Ignored Applications" list from the grid.
You can also add some application to the "Ignored Applications" list directly in the Configuration window on the "App list" tab:
- Click the "Create a new rule" button;
- Type the app name in the first field and select the executable file path in the second one;
- Click the "OK" button to save this application in the "Ignored Applications" list;
NOTE: If the ClipClip app was frozen during this action, that means that something was going wrong. Please send us a report from your ClipClip app. This report will have an attached log file that most likely contains described errors about this problem. Such reports allow us to fix bugs.
To do this:
- Run the ClipClip app and go to the main menu:
- Click the "Help" section;
- Click the "Report a problem" menu item - the dialog will be opened;
- Type info into the textboxes of this dialog. For example:
Problem name: "ClipClip app was frozen"
Describe your problem: "I clicked on the adjacent + and ClipClip froze and I had to End Task and restart."
Type your email address and click the "Send" button.
This dialog will attach your log file to this report automatically.
NOTE: The ClipClip log file is placed in this folder on your computer:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Vitzo\ClipClip
