Animated images support and clip preview

Hello,

could you consider adding support for animated gifs and pngs to ClipClip ? currently if an animated gif or png is added to ClipClip the image is static when i view it using the "Edit clip" context menu item.

could you also consider adding a preview pane to the bottom of the clips list so that w can preview the clip contents from within ClipClip ? this will be useful in quickly previewing clipboard items and especially images since currently we have to go through the "Edit clip" menu item to preview them.

i appreciate your reply.

i understand your explanation however i can see other clipboard managers being able to display animated GIF's. check out, ClipCachePro from XRayz software and clipboardMaster from jumping bytes. so perhaps it can also be implemented in ClipClip ?

Thank you for the tip, i did not know that.

Hello

ClipClip app does not support animated images. The reason is as follows:
- Basically, an animated GIF consists of multiple images. When you copy/insert it to the clipboard, only one of those images is actually copied. As a result, when you paste it from the clipboard - it is a single image without animation.

Regarding the clip preview - you can view the clip content by moving the mouse over icons.
