How to hide clipclip to notification area when it startup with windows?

I am using Windows 10 and Clipclip 2.4.5515. I use clipclip quite often so I selected "Run on windows startup". But I don't need it to show up every time I start windows. Is there a way to hide it to notification area on startup?

I was a Ditto user some time earlier and it was able to start silently. I wish Clipclip could do it as well.

Thank you very much. Clipclip is great!

Hello,

New updates will not solve this issue. This record will exist in any case.
Therefore, you have to remove it manually.
NOTE: This will not affect your computer's work.
See the attached screenshot that demonstrates how to do this:

Thanks a lot!

I tried searching in the configuration tab for a lot of time now to fix this thing and was getting really annoyed, even tried waiting for the next update, but it still didn't fix it.

Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience.
For some reasons, unnecessary record automatically is added to the Registry Editor.
I already sent a question about it to the team who implemented an installer for the ClipClip  2.4.5515 version.
Here is a video that demonstrates my tests that show how this record occurs in the Registry Editor during the ClipClip installation:

To fix your issue, you have to delete this record.
To do this (see the attached "ClipClip AutoRun Delete.png" screenshot):
- Open the Registry Editor on this key:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- On the right side, find the "ClipClip" entry;
- Right-click on it and click the "Delete" command to delete this record;
That's all.

After the fix, you can enable the "Run on Windows startup" option to make the ClipClip behaviour as it was in the previous versions.
In this case, the ClipClip app will add the record to this key in Registry Editor:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
There will be added the record:
"C:\Program Files\ClipClip\ClipClip.exe" -hide
where "-hide" parameter allows to run the ClipClip app in the hidden mode - the ClipClip app is placed in the System Tray.

Thank you very much! This issue seems to appear randomly, so I prefer not to mess with registry. I will wait for the next version.

Thanks!
