Selection copied incorrectly

Hi,

Working on a word document with tables and table of content section. If I highlight the text( inc tables, sections etc.) I get the copied noise. If  I then paste with formatting, I only get a single word.

If I do a copy (ctrl + C) it will then be stored correctly

Hi Anthony

Once the latest clip is created, you can view its content by clicking on the "eye" icon in the grid on the left of the row. In addition, you can edit it to keep its content that you need. The commands "paste with formatting" and "paste without formatting" are used for the formatted texts. For example, if you create a clip from the web page, you can paste this clip in two ways:
- As the plain text;
- As the formatted text;

You can test it right now:
- Select and copy any link from this page on the right;
- Open this webpage - https://html-online.com/editor/

- Use "paste with formatting" command to paste the full content (text and HTML markup) of the latest clip into the left side of this HTML editor - look at the result on the right;
- Use "paste without formatting" command to paste just a plain text of the latest clip into the left side of this HTML editor - look at the result on the right;

This is a simple example of how to use these commands. It does not matter how you copy a text from the web page - using its context menu or "Ctrl+C" hotkeys.
Regarding word documents with tables that you described, we will test how ClipClip works with them.
