Window size

Is there a setting to retain the Manager window size and position? When I launch the ClipClip Manager after booting my PC or manually after closing it, the window always opens full screen, even though I had resized it.

Thank you, your instructions fixed the window issues. Apparently the Manager window always defaults to the position entered in the registry value (except the glitch that caused it to always open full screen in my case). I changed the values to make the default window smaller in the upper left corner of my screen. I prefer to use the Manager rather than the Paste window because it's easier to use drag and drop for pasting, and the window stays open until I close it. The Paste window always closes after a paste, which is annoying when pasting multiple items and having to reopen it every time.

Hi

Try to fix it yourself. Steps to do this:
1) Close ClipClip application if it is running. Please check the system tray whether there is the
ClipClip icon. If so, please complete the following steps:
- Right-click on it to open the icon context menu;
- In this context menu, click the "Exit" menu item to close ClipClip.

2) Remove "LastWindowLocation" value in ClipClip settings from the registry:
- Open Windows registry;
- Go to the "KEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Vitzo\ClipClip\Settings" key;
- On the right side, right-click on "LastWindowLocation" value and select "Delete" menu item in its context menu to remove this value from the registry;

Done. Launch ClipClip application.

If it did not help, please provide us some additional information:
1) Windows OS;
2) ClipClip version;
3) Create a copy of ClipClip settings. Steps to do this:
- Open Windows registry;
- Go to the "KEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Vitzo\ClipClip\Settings" key;
- Right-click on "Settings" key and select "Export" menu item in its context menu;
- In "Export Registry File" dialog, select a location and save these data as TXT file;
- Send us this file or its content;

Best Regards,

Even when closed properly the window always reverts to full screen.

Hi

Yes, there is. The window size and location is saved in the Windows Registry:
Path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Vitzo\ClipClip\Settings
Value: LastWindowLocation

If the ClipClip is closed properly, new data is saved to this value.
The next start, this data will be used to restore the window size and location.

We hope this information will be useful to you.
