couldn't register the hotkeys

When I reboot my pc, ClipClip automatically starts but comes up with an error message:

Couldn't register the hotkeys (Ctrl+Shift+V) for the 'Open Paste Menu (with formatting)' command. Perhaps this key combination is used by another application.

However yesterday this hotkey was working with ClipClip and I didn't register it to some other application. Please help...

Hi George

Most likely, the "Ctrl+Shift+V" key combination (as global hotkeys) is already used by another app on your computer.
In most cases, this app is started before the ClipClip app. In this case, this app (as the first running app) registers the "Ctrl+Shift+V" key combination without problems. The ClipClip app (as the second running app) cannot register these hotkeys because only a single app can use them on the computer.
In this scenario, if the ClipClip app could not register these keys, you can change ones in the Configuration window (Hotkeys tab).
For example, you can "Ctrl + Shift + W" key combination that is rarely used in Windows OS.
On the other hand, find the program that uses these hotkeys and replace them with other ones.

Same problem here. I have two conflicting hotkeys, but I have no idea what other program is grabbing the keys. So, I tried to change the ClipClip hotkeys, but the instant I enter the new hotkey combo, ClipClip immediately reverts back to the original conflicting hotkey combo. ClipClip won't let me change the hotkeys. How can I change the hotkeys?

I've got basically the same problem. ClipClip is unable to grab two of its default hotkeys, so I get two errors popping up at every reboot. I used Nir's HotKeyList to see which keys were already in use, then went into ClipClip's hotkey config window (which looks very different to the one on the Help page). But ClipClip won't allow me to change any of the hotkeys. When I try to change any hotkey, ClipClip changes it back to the default about a half a second later. So it is impossible to change any hotkey assignments. Is there a workaround?
