How to use CTRL+ALT+F (simplify formatting)

Hello, whenever I use the ctrl+alt+f hotkey nothing happens.  And I don't understand how I'm supposed to use it.

-Do I use it instead of the regular paste shortcut?

-Do I use it before I paste or after I paste?

-Do I use it only in the ClipClip editor?

Thanks for any clarification and examples you can provide.

I think I found the answer to my question-- I now see that ctrl+alt+f is for "Toggle simplify formatting on/off" in the Options menu.  But, I first saw ctrl+alt+f in the Configurations menu where it just says "Simplify formatting" so I thought I needed to use the hotkey every time I needed to paste my copied text in a simplied format.  I now realize that every time I use that hotkey I'm toggling the simplify setting on and off.  To make this easier to understand, I suggest using the same language in both the Options menu and the Configuration menu where this hotkey appears-- "Toggle simply formatting on/off" is clearer to me than just "simplify formatting."

But, I still don't understand how to use simplify formatting.  For example, I need to copy some tables, and I want to paste them as plain text.  But I can't seem to get the tables to copy in plain text.  What are the steps and hotkeys for doing this?

Hello,

The main idea of the clips is that they contain copied data and they are real Windows files that are saved on the hard drive.
As a result, you can rename, edit, change, or delete them directly in File Explorer. The internal editors have been implemented as very simple tools to edit clip content. You can edit clips in any other applications like Photoshop, Word, Notepad, etc.
