I'm enjoying the app so far but wanted to see if there's a possibility of adding in the option send the clipboard content via paste or by typing it out (for text content). One of the apps I use for work uses a different shortcut than Ctrl + v to paste within the app. It would be very helpful, as I currently would have to use the ClipClip shortcut, then use the other app's shortcut to paste data.

Hello, whenever I use the ctrl+alt+f hotkey nothing happens.  And I don't understand how I'm supposed to use it. 

-Do I use it instead of the regular paste shortcut? 

-Do I use it before I paste or after I paste? 

-Do I use it only in the ClipClip editor?

I've begun to notice that a clip I clipped yesterday, has continued to "Clip", without my interaction. Every couple of minutes, I'll hear the ClipClip 'Click' and the window pops from my taskbar. The same clip:   "in Docs Mgmt"   EVERY TIME. I do nothing to cause this to happen. Nothing is resting on any keys. It's a ghost in my keyboard, evidently. How can I stop this madness?  Other than that, It's an AWESOME App! Thanks, Bob Reece

I'm slightly more ignorant than a newbie. In the Clip Editor, I can't seem to change the font attributes after typing the text. Selecting the added text and then changing a font attribute seems to only apply to the next text I add not the current text.

Following options in use

In the ClipClip 'Options' menu, what does "Toggle simplify formatting on/off" mean and what does it do? (see pic below)

I used to have the ability to change font colour, make text bold and basically use a full html editor up until a few versions ago. 

Why has this function been removed?

I know you can do these functions in a rich text document but the text from .rtf loses all formatting when pasted into a web page such as a support ticket, blog post etc.

Is there a workaround?

Is there a way to combine several clips into one BIG clip and then paste that information somewhere else? I use this feature (from Clipmate) for email address when I have a group of 10, I select all 10, combine them together (Clipmate calls it append), then one ctrl V and they are all pasted where they need to go.   Please note, this is not the power paste option in Clipmate (which is good though, lol)

I was surprised about the fact I couldn't find a very common option in clip management apps: don't capture the mouse pointer in screenshots.

Two updates in two days, the first one went ok, the one this morning gave no option to select "NO" and deleted all my folders and settings. Fortunately, I'm one of those that always backs-up my settings.

Another thing that just irritates the crap out of me is that when an update arrives there is the "What's New" link. . . that is never ever updated! Updating it before you release it should always be standard protocol.

You have a fine product, but you seriously lack basic procedures.

I am stuck in a mode where I select part of the screen but it will not complete the capture.  I cannot brina any applications into focus, not even the task manager to kill clipclip. Very frustrating. Looks like I will need to reboot.  Help would be appreciated in case this happens again.  I can find any key stroke to get out of this.

I recently installed Clip Clip onto a new computer.

On my last computer, a lot of clips were lost (as I

recall this was caused by a version upgrade). Now

it's important to not lose clips ever again.

That being said ...

Do you recommend EXPORT ON A DAILY BASIS ???

Is it possible that MOVING THEM out of the LATEST

CLIPS FOLDER into a new folder removes the risk 

of losing the data ???

I've been using the program for a few years now and at randomly a week or two ago, the program has been saying message the title states. Anyone have any idea what is causing this? I'm not sure if it stopped working after a windows update or not because my office computer kind of just does whatever it wants. I've also tried using the Force Clips Update function which makes the pause message go away but the second I copy something new it pauses again. Anyone know what causes this?

Is it possible to use the Windows key in shortcut combinations? I am used to calling my current clipboard manager with Win + Q and I can't seem to be able to use that combination with ClipClip.
