It would be a big workflow improvement to have the ability to right-click on a clipboard item in the context menu and immediately save it as a permanent clip without having to open the full UI.

its good but every time i try a new app for replace ClipX, something missing! color picker, windows folders support, lightwheigt and other stuff... its perfect but last update in 2005! 

Please make it possible that the manager and configuration can be run from the paste menu and that we can assign custom shortcut to open the paste menu, which would require only one hand with a quick action

(Ditto is using Ctrl+` which is very quick and doesn’t require both hands!)

Also that we can save clips from the paste menu

I have noticed that copied objects from AutoCAD is being converted to images. This is of no use to CAD/CAM users. 99 times out of 100 CAD users do not want lines,text,circles...etc. converted to an image when copying between drawings. It would be far better to insert CAD objects back as CAD objects. Native windows clipboard does this flawlessly, the only issue is that you can only copy one item at a time.

Have a proper cloud sync option for latest clips so remote workers can have one clipboard "cache", db or whatever, updated dynamically, that their local and remote machines can share.

Small Question. Can I help to translate ClipClip to German?

Would you consider adding some form of password protection to access what is stored within Clip Clip? While I wouldn't store anything too sensitive in a clipboard manager, I would still like to be able to keep the contents safe from any casual snooping.

Make it possible to add keyboard functional keys, for example to fill in a form the, contents is followed up with TAB key. It is like Comfort Clipboard, or AutoHotKey.

I frequently use cap lock and forget to undo when appropriate (I know this isn't a common issue), it would be cool to have the option to set case like reverse upper to lower and lower to upper, have proper case, etc. in the Apply Action drop down menu on a clip or latest clip. There is already some cool stuff in there, might as well keep it going, I believe this should be an easy implementation in your code, but what do I know.

Any plans to introduce an API?

I would love to be able to add data to my clipboard by zappier or integromat.

could you consider adding support for animated gifs and pngs to ClipClip ? currently if an animated gif or png is added to ClipClip the image is static when i view it using the "Edit clip" context menu item.

could you also consider adding a preview pane to the bottom of the clips list so that w can preview the clip contents from within ClipClip ? this will be useful in quickly previewing clipboard items and especially images since currently we have to go through the "Edit clip" menu item to preview them.

Hi, I really liked ClipClip.

However the missing functions of quickly changing to a previous or more recent clip, or to quickly apply one of the formatting actions doesn't allow me to change from Clipjump to this software.

If you guys implemented functions similar to Clipjump like HOLD Ctrl + V opens a quick menu where V changes the previous clip, C changes to a more recent clip or  Z applies a format action to the current clip, and then realeasing Ctrl paste the current clip, I would upgrade from ClipJump without a second thought, however how things are now

First off, I love ClipClip. It has simplified my life dramatically.

As for my idea: there are neat things you can do to images, such as add margins and watermarks. What I would find very handy is if you could add a (simple) border around an image, possiblity with the option to set thickness and colour.
